For the next few posts we’ll be focusing on giving some great alternatives to the traditional handbags and clutches.  This time, we’re going for recycled and green ones, including clutches and other types of handbags.

This particular handbag is made out of recycled juice boxes.  It’s definitely a handbag that gets a ton of comments and questions – most likely the ones that ask where you got a handbag like this.

It’s a large teardrop-style handbag with a metal clasp closure. It measures 14″ x 3.5″ x 12″ and weighs 0.8 lbs, so it’s pretty light and durable.  It also comes in a variety of colors like silver, yellow/blue, orange, purple, red, multi-color/silver (shown).

I’ve only seen a few other women with bags like this – a few celebrities and some of my friends who are much more fashionable than I am.  If you’re fashion-forward and have a green / eco-friendly way about you, you can accomplish both with this recycled juice box bag.
